VKM – Packages

VKM – Packages are made with three materials. Paper comprises 70 percent of the package, polyethylene 24 percent and aluminum 6 percent. Over the years, School Carton Recycling has proven to be challenging. Most schools have not been able to get the school cartons.

Despite these challenges, there are successful schools programs that have been recycling cartons for years. We are start collecting in 1998.Today in Slovakia per year importing 8000 ton's beverages carton's, our ompany collecting and than recycling more than 20%.

School collecting

The enterprise plans to involve schoolboys in Tetra Pak packing collecting, having investigated the experience of the company “Kuruc-company spol. s.r.o.”. According to the results shown in realization experience of the similar project in Slovakia, it will not only allow providing the enterprise with raw material, but also will carry out the important ecological and educational function.

From the ecological point of view it is important how many packing is collected. From the educational point of view it is even more important that from the age of going to school children study not to litter. They collect secondary raw material from which it is possible to make other products, and also study to concern carefully to the environment. Now the project of Tetra Pak packing collecting in Slovakia is taking place at 250 schools in 55 cities and villages.
